What a crazy world we live in now! Often it isn't very "family friendly". I have long thought about how our clothing influences the way we think and how it affects others. I have wished and waited for the stores to carry more decent choices, often sewing my family's clothing in order to give them the coverage that I felt was modest and respectful. When we went swimming, I would encourage my children to wear a t-shirt over their suits, in order to be more modest. A wet t-shirt, though, can be hard to swim in, feel cold—and it is often very revealing!
